INTEGRATED ANIMAL AND PLANT HEALTH SYSTEM
PROCESS MANAGEMENT AND SOLUTION INTEGRATION

The Integrated Agricultural Development Company of the State of Santa Catarina was posed with a great challenge: guarantee the necessary conditions to transform the state into a beef and poultry exporting center. To achieve this, an Integrated Animal and Plant Health System was set up (SISAV) together with B2Br, generating a technological solution allowing the integrated control of all regional data.

After conducting a detailed diagnosis, B2Br developed a centralized database for the management of the data of the rural establishments in the state and to produce management and statistics reports to support decision-making. Due to the success of the solution, Santa Catarina was the only state whose credibility was not questioned by the international community during the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak that affected the southern part of the country in 2001.

PROCESS MANAGEMENT AND SOLUTION INTEGRATION

Continuously aiming to provide quality services to citizens, and to minimize constant problems caused by queues, lack of service quality, lack of information, among others, are important goals of any government. This led, in 1996, to a program that joined complex technology and the simplicity of basic services essential to the overall population.

The service was called Poupatempo (Timesaver) and was developed through a partnership with the TBA Group, of which B2Br is the IT solution integrator, and the São Paulo State Data Processing Company (PRODESP). This project soon became both a national and international reference in how technology may be used to better provide citizen assistance.
